Story telling is one of the most important outlets for communities. To remember the full lives of those who have served in the Great War is an essential part of this story telling – they were all so much more than soldiers, nurses, pilots, sailors…and more than a casualty statistic. They were all sons or daughters, brothers or sisters, husbands, fathers, mates. And they are so much more than a list of names on a wall. We WILL remember them.
